Boyle County Cemeteries

Boyle County has over 300 cemeteries, public, private, white, black, integrated, recorded, unrecorded, easily visible, and lost to time.

Many of the cemeteries are recorded at the website Find A Grave, and are also transcribed in the now out of print book, Boyle County, Kentucky, Cemetery Records 1792-1992, with updates and corrections.

My goal here is to collect in one place all the inscriptions and transcriptions which are NOT in the Boyle County cemetery book, for the most part, neglected, overgrown, or forgotten African-American cemeteries.  This page will grow as new burials are located, or as more work is done on the project.
