"Clark; infant son of B & A.S. Clark. Laura B.Marshal married Charles Clark,
but they were both born abt 1856. Maybe Benjaminwas Charles Clark's father
who shows up in the 1850 censusliving close by (District 1, 167)"
Benard Clark married America Marshall Marr. Rec. Bk. 9, pp. 265, between
1855-59. The infant that died April 15, 1860 (Aged 2 dys.) and buried in
the Marshall Family Graveyard is theirs. America was the daughter of James
M. Marshall that died September 28, 1862 and is buried in the Marshall
Cemetery.
Alonzo Marshall - 1929 |
James Marshall - 1862 |
James W. Marshall - 1883 |
Vincent Marshall - 1856 |
This was the Andrew Jackson that I could not place. The stone is really hard |
Napoleon and Ann (Heyler) Marshall are also buried in this cemetery but there
are no stones. I was reading the newspaper 1900 and 1905 obits in the
Recorder and they indicate that both were buried in the family plot (living
in Frogtown area). The 1870/1880 census show them in Big Bone. When
Napoleon's mother Eveline died in 1882, they moved from Big Bone to the
farms on Gunpowder Creek and lived next to his brother Alexander.
