Vardiman Finnell. Born March 21, 1812 in Boone County, Kentucky, died January 2, 1897 in Boone County, Kentucky. This headstone is inscribed on one side for Vardiman and the opposite side for his wife, Ann Nancy Sleet. She was born October 20, 1823 in Boone County, Kentucky and died October 2, 1882 in Boone County, Kentucky. She is the daughter of Benjamin Sleet and Margaret McManama.

Robert Louis Finnell, MD, born 1845 and died 4 Jan 1925 in Boone County, Kentucky. He is the son of Vardiman and Nancy Finnell. On the same headstone is wife Anna Baker Finnell, born 1848 and died February 25, 1927. She is the daughter of John and Eliza Ann (Hagish) Baker.

Headstone reads: In this plot of ground are nine graves removed on July 7, 1966 from the former Dr. R. L. Finnell farm necessitated due to construction of I-71. Identity of those who rest here are unknown.

Mary Blanche (Griffith) Anderson, born October 26, 1921 and died December 27, 2003 in Kenton County, Kentucky. Daughter of John Elmer and Harpie (Jackson) Griffith. Mary is buried in front of Vardiman's father stone. Mary does not yet have a headstone.

Evelyn Faye (Griffith) Skinner. Born abt 1925 and died 2004 in Boone County, Kentucky. She is buried on the right as you go into the first road, coming from Verona. Daughter of John Elmer and Harpie (Jackson) Griffith. Faye does not yet have a headstone.

This sleet headstone is unreadable from the picture but I believe it says: Meeadon and Hannah Sleet. Since I am related to the Sleet family, I collect headstone pictures of this family. I have not been able to place these people in my research.
