Jay Hugh Taylor

Funeral services were conducted June 30 for Jay Hugh Taylor, 64, at the Durham Funeral Home in Pineville, Ky.at 2 p.m. with the Revs. W.B. Bingham and Theo Carter officiating.
Jay Taylor, a resident of Route 5, London, Ky. died at Marymount Hospital June 27,1976 following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Miracle, Ky. born April 4,1912 to George and Betty Taylor. He was married to the former Argie Lee Early, who survives.
Other survivors include five daughters, Dolores Taylor, London, Ky., and Lola (George) Ervin, Dortheda (Homer) Wilder, Geneva (Harold) Miracle, Wanda (Mark Jr.) Daniels, all of Pontiac, Mich.; two sons, Dell Lee (J.C) Taylor, London,Ky. and Roy Edward Taylor, Pontiac, Mich.; two brothers, Bill Taylor, Miracle, Ky., Hillary Taylor, Oaks, Ky., five sisters, Laura Hoskins, Hanses Creek, Ky. Mossie McGeorge, Calvin, Ky. Leona Farmer, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Zora Vanflandern and Magdalene Cornett, both of London, Ky. and 11 grandchildren.
Taylor was a member of the Varilla Babtist Church and was retired from the General Motors Corp. in Pontiac, Mich.
Burial was at Pineville Memorial Cemetery, Pineville Ky.
Durham Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
