John Jeff Brock passed
away August 20, 1970in
the Pineville Community
Hospital after a brief
illness.
He was born in Bell Co on
June 10, 1891, the son of
the late Henry and Mary
Bullins Brock. He was a
life long resident of
Bell Co and a member of
the Baptist Church. He
loved the outdoors and
loved to hunt, fish and
be with his dogs.
He was a veteran of World
War I.
He is preceded in death
by his wife Mrs. Mildred
Schrader Brock, his sons
Robert William Brock,
Charles Brock, Walter
Mitchell Brock, and Henry
Richard Brock. Surviving
are three daughters, Mrs.
Ann Medley, Covington, KY.,
Mrs. Elsie Shillings, Cincinnati,
OH., Mrs. Helen Brock and
two sons,
George Brock, Cincinnati,
OH., Edward Brock,
Cincinnati, OH., and one
sister Mrs. Lucy Napier;
Hawaii Islands; 20
grandchildren, and 7
great grandchildren.
Funeral services were
held Sunday, August 23,
1970 at 12 noon at the
Arnett Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Thea
O. Carter and Rev.
Everett Hisle
officiating.
Friends of the family
served as pallbearers.
Burial was in the Laurel
HillCemetery
Arnett Funeral Home was
in charge of
arrangements. |
