William Walker married July 1815 to Sarah E. Richardson who was born 11 Oct 1796 also in New Kent Co, VA. To them were born twelve children. To Wit:

  • David Alexander Walker was born 29 June 1838

William and Sarah Walker emigrated to Allen Co, KY in March 1816 in two ox carts and four oxen. In the 1820’s he bought a farm west of Buck Creek on the Old Ford Blunt Road. About 1848 he bought 1600 acres known as the Big Woods. In 1850 built a church which was named Walker’s Chapel. He died 28 Mar 1874 and she died 31 Mar 1879. They are buried in the Walker Chapel Cemetery.
