      I hope everyone had a wonderful time with family and friends over the holidays. Let's work harder in 2009 to make this website a place to check back more and more for new things going on with the Adair County Genealogical Society.

     In 2009, we will be bringing some changes to the review.  Membership is still $15.00 and can be mailed in now.

 
      Ernestine Bennett still has copies of her second volume of the Country Store left; she mentioned once she runs out she would reprint if anyone needed them. It is a wonderful collection of pictures and stories of the old time country stores found in Adair County.
