The county seat of Smith County, one of the most beautiful and fertile counties in the State. Until lately there has been no railroad tapping this section, but the R. I. and S. F. are both running through this town now, and with the advent of transportation facilities will come renewed activity and vim, so that a large and prosperous city may be looked for at no distant date.
