Mrs. Elizabeth Williams, 88, died Jan. 26 at the home of her son, Levi Williams, in Fowler, Colo.; came to Topeka in 1858; burial here this afternoon.

Albert Benson, 47, died Jan. 26 of pneumonia; funeral was yesterday.
Edward Peterson, 22, died Jan. 26 of consumption; burial in Lawrence.

Martin Finney, 73, died Jan. 28 from a stroke of paralysis; services today at the Church of the Assumption.
The funeral of Arthur A. Beckesy, 32, was held yesterday, with burial in the Topeka cemetery; died in Kansas City; brother in law of W. R. Martin.
Mrs. Martha Ludington died at her home near Oakland Jan. 27; a resident here since 1857.
Harvey Shull, 27, died Jan. 28 of lung trouble; services tomorrow.

Hiram Miller, 74, died Jan. 28 at his home 6 miles north of North Topeka; services tomorrow from the Pleasant Hill church.
Mrs. Annie Carter, 56, died Jan. 29 of pneumonia; her husband, John Carter, died an hour later; services not complete.
Mrs. Jennie Croskey died Jan. 29 of apoplexy; body to Wichita for burial.
Mrs. Jennie W. Dey/Day died Jan. 29 at Christ hospital.
M. J. Reynolds died Jan. 26 at Dover, OK; he was the father of Capt. Reynolds of the 23rd Kansas; burial in Topeka yesterday.

Dr. W. L. Burns died Feb. 4 of heart trouble at his home in North Topeka; survived by wife and two sons.
The funeral of John R. Libbey, Santa Fe conductor, will be held today; he died Feb. 3.
Henry McLaughlin, age 93 yrs., 11 mos. and 20 dys., died Feb. 1 at the home of his daughter, 5 miles south of Meriden.

Mrs. Laura M. Moore, 51, died Feb. 5 of heart trouble; survived by her husband, J. R. Moore, and daughter, Mrs. Flora E. Carmer.
J. H. Baker, former resident, died in Ventura, Calif. Jan. 31; his wife died here 2 1/2 years ago; survived by four children: John of San Francisco; Ernest of Ohio; Mrs. May Reisner of Atchison, Kansas and Mrs. Carrie Randolph, Ventura, Calif.

The funeral of John Wybel, who died the Feb. 12th at his home three miles north of Meriden, was held yesterday at the United Brethren church; survived by wife and three children.

Harry L Beard died Feb. 16 at Stormont hospital as the result of an operation for appendicitis; born Terre Haute, Ind., Oct. 27, 1876 to M/M L. Beard; survived by parents, a brother Arthur and a sister, Grace; funeral today.
Mrs. Anna E. Mason, 73, died Feb. 16; funeral from Grace cathedral today.
Henry J. Miller, 78, died at his home in Spring Valley, Ill. last week; father of Mrs. Charles J. Devlin of this place.
Pleasant Anderson, 75, died Feb. 16 of pneumonia; funeral today from the 14th Street Methodist church.
Daniel Wooden died Feb. 15 at his home on north Lincoln street; body sent to Lawrence for burial.
Jacob August died Feb. 16 at his home; cause of death was heart failure; born July 11, 1823 at Neikerchien, Bavaria; married Bertha Epstein at Philadelphia; survived by his wife and children: Mrs. Josephine Mendelson, Mrs. Phil Jacobs, Mrs. E. Mrs. P. H. Butler died Feb. 22 in Pittsburg, Pa., of cancer; former resident of Silver Lake.
Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons, 60, died Feb 22 at her home on Van Buren street; survived by children: G. W. Simmons of New York, W. A Simmons of Memphis and Misses Ada, Jennie and Blanche of Topeka.
David Eckert died Feb. 22 at his home on West Tenth street from la grippe; survived by two sons, Frank and Will who farm southwest of Topeka; burial Topeka cemetery.

Marguerite, nine year old daughter of William and Edith Craven Ebert of New York City, but former Topeka residents, was killed by an electice car at that place recently.

Frank J. Thomas, 46, died Feb. 27 after an operation for appendicitis; born August 17, 1856 in Adams, N. Y; orphaned at age 17; married Bertha Schadow on Oct. 17, 1880; survived by wife and three daughter, Bertha, Mabel and Margaret; funeral today.
William P. Thompson, 69, died Feb. 28 at his home on West Sixth street; survived by wife and a daughter, Mrs. William Guard; funeral tomorrow.

Florence Strickrott, 24, died March 1 at her home on Van Buren street; wife of E. S. Stickrott.

Manuel Moore, colored, died March 2 at his home in North Topeka; funeral today.

Mrs. Theodore Martindale died March 2 at her home on Tyler street from cancer; born in Circleville, Ohio in 1842; mother of C. E. Young; burial in Topeka cemetery.
Mrs. Caroline Colwell, 89, died March 2 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. E. Fraser; also survived by two sons, H. J. Colwell of Michigan and M. B. Colwell of Cripple Creek, Colo.

Miss Ida Glenn, sister of our residents, Mrs. J. H. Guy and Frank Glenn, died in Oberlin, Ohio yesterday.

Mrs. Charles Luthye of Silver Lake died last Sunday in Kansas City of consumption; funeral was Wednesday at Silver Lake.

Mrs. Harriet Crone, 66, died March 5 of paralysis; burial will be in Meriden.
The remains of William Jenks, who died March 4, will be sent to Republic, Ohio, for burial.

Frank Devlin died March 7 as a result of a fight; burial in the Topeka cemetery.
S. B. Rhodes died March 7 at his home 16 miles north of Topeka, of pneumonia; interment in Coleman cemetery; his son died a week ago of the same disease.
W. M. Dignon, 57, died March 6 from blood poisoning from the effects of an old gunshot wound suffered in the Civil war; born Newark, N. J. on Aug 16, 1845; his first wife, Emma Reed, died in 1899; his second wife, the former May James and five children survive: Mr. C. A. Farron of Chicago, William M. of Seattle, Vernon E. of Chicago, Junita Dignon of Chicago, and Frank of Topeka; Topeka cemetery.
The funeral of Reuben Witch will be held this morning from the DeMoss and Penwell undertaking parlor.
Christian Bowman, 73, died March 7; survived by his widow and three children: Mrs. W. A. Potter of St. Paul, Orville S. Bowman of Kansas City and Clarence S. Bowman of Topeka.

Mrs. J. M. West and husband were called to Chicago on Friday by the sudden death of her mother [another item said it was her sister].

Mrs. Bertha M. Thomas died March 9 of consumption; her husband, Frank Thomas, died last month.
The infant child of M/M Reardon of 212 Hancock street died March 9.

James Rhodes, 28, died March 10 at his home near Point Pleasant of pneumonia; third death in the family within the last two weeks.
The funeral of Mrs. W. A. Peffer will be tomorrow from the home.
Mrs. Mary Worsley, 98, died March 11 at her home on East Second street; burial at Wappingers Springs.

Mrs. Tekla Rippetoe, 68, died March 11 of dropsy at her home near Meriden; survived by her husband and children. one of whom is Mrs. Willard of Topeka.
Samuel O. Fulton, 55, died March 12 at his home on Walker avenue; body will be taken to Scranton for interment.
E. W. Wheeler, father of Mrs. W. H. Stormes of this city, died March 12 at his home in Ft. Scott of pneumonia.

John Hatcher, 68, died March 13 at his home on Quincy street of Bright's disease; funeral Saturday.

Mrs. Hannah Wright, 50, died March 17 of acute bronchitis at her home on Lime street; funeral today from the Christian church.
Mrs. W. C. Whittelsey died March 16 of apoplexy; funeral tomorrow from Unity church.
Rev. H. H. Lucas died March 15 at Emporia; burial will be in Topeka in the charge of the Mt. Moriah lodge.
Mrs. Charles Harkness died March 17 at the Fifth avenue hotel of pneumonia; body shipped to Chanute for burial.

Mrs. Sarah E. Adams, 92, died March 18 of her granddaughter, Mrs. T. C. Cottle, in Oakland; Mrs. Adams was the the mother of James Barton Adams, of the Denver Post.
The funeral of Mrs. William Buchanan will be today.
James R., four year old son of R. S. Christian died March 18 of meningitis; interment today in Topeka cemetery.

E. G. Hastings died March 19 of pneumonia at his home in Grantville.
Ole Pederson died last night of old age; funeral on Sunday.
Mrs. May Hunter, 50, died last night at her home on Monroe, after an illness of a year; survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Jones, of this city, and Miss Daisy Hunter, a teacher in Branner school.

Mary Spaulding, 32, died March 20 of hemorrage of the lungs.

Mrs. J. E. Doleman died March 19 at her home in St. Joseph; former resident of Topeka.

Benjamin F. Baker died March 20 at his home on West 10th street; he was a lawyer and former principal of the high school at Burlingame; body will be taken to Washington, Ill. for burial.
Mrs. Phoebe Hower, 76, died March 21 at her home on North Chestnut of dropsy.

William Cooper Embree, 15 year old son of Dr. A. S. Embree, died March 24 from spinal meningitis at his home in Potwin
Andrew McGregor died March 24; born May 15, 1836 at Churchville, Nova Scotia; charter member and former post commander of Lincoln Post #1, G.A.R.; survived by wife and two daughters, Mrs. E. R. Manning of New Mexico, and Mrs. W. H. Lewis of Topeka; funeral will be from the family residence today.
Arthur Sage, 75, died at Highland Park died March 23 of cancer of the stomach; burial at Dover today.

Dr. D. Rogers, 75, died March 25 of pneumonia; came to Topeka from Waterloo, Mo., in 1872; survived by three children Dr. S. L. Rogers, Mrs. E. D. Giles, and John P. Rogers; brother in law of Andrew McGregor, who died Sunday evening;

Mrs. Dora Nichols died March 26 of peritonitis.
Mrs. U. T. Kendall, formerly Miss Louise Jones of this city, died March 26 in a Chicago hospital; she was 24 years old and leaves a husband, infant son and her mother, Mrs. Louisa Jones of West Tenth street; burial will be in Topeka.

Josephine Irene Morris, 18 months, died March 27 of pneumonia; body taken to Lecompton for burial.

Funeral services for J. S. Judd, father of Dr. C. E. Judd of Potwin, will be held tomorrow; remains will be shipped to White Hall, Ill. for burial.
Almina M. Prescott, 76, died March 29 at her home on Exeter street; survived by husband, W. R. Prescott, and seven children.
