ANDERSON
Mr. Garrett Anderson, aged 75, died at his residence, 611 N. Tyler street, of old age, Thursday, September 17. The funeral was held at the B. street Baptist church, the interment being in Topeka cemetery. (Topeka Plaindealer, Sept. 25, 1908)

ANDERSON
The venerable Martin Anderson, father of Major T. J. Anderson, died of old age at the home of his son, 215 Clay St., at 11 o'clock yesterday forenoon. The funeral will take place at the family residence Sunday morning at 10 o'clock. The interment will be in Topeka Cemetery. Major Martin Anderson was born on the farm of his parents, James and Sarah Anderson, in Columbiana Co., Ohio, Sept. 17, 1817. There were eleven boys and three girls in the family. The father died at the early age of 42, and his mother in her 63rd year. Martin attended the district schools in his native county, and in 1833, at the age of 16, he was apprenticed to a carpenter in Pittsburg.Having returned to Ohio after learning his trade, he married Ellen Hauck on April 19, 1838 and settled in Portage County, where his son Thomas was born in 1839. In politics, as early as 1842, Mr. Anderson identified himself with the anit-slavery party, then called the "Liberty Party," and voted for John P. Hale, the presidential candidate on the free soil ticket in 1852. He served three years as justice of the peace of Stark County, Ohio, having resided in that county since 1840. In June, 1857 he removed to Gransshopper Falls, Kansas, remaining there until the first of January, 1858, when he settled on a farm he had purchased in Calhoun, now Jackson County, some eight miles northwest of Holton near the present. Mr. Anderson was instrumental in forming the first Republican organization in the territory. In 1860 Mr. Anderson was elected a member of the Territorial Legislature of 1861; was elected to the House of Representatives in 1862. His only son, Thomas J. had already entered the service during the Civil War, and the father desired to enlist also. His wife gave her consent for him to enlist and he entered the army of the frontier as a private, but was elected Captain of Co. B, 11th Kansas Vol. Inf. He was promoted to the rank of major Nov. 22, 1862 and received further promotion as Colonel by brevet, March 10, 1865. Major Anderson was elected treasurer of Kansas in 1866, serving one term. He took up residence in Holton and was twice elected major of that city. After his wife's death in Topeka on Sept. 4, 1891, he made his home with his son, Thomas. He survives him, as well as a daughter, Mrs. Luticia A. Barnes, also of Topeka. (Kansas Semi-Weekly Capital, July 13. 1897)

The funeral of Mrs. Bessie Buckner Austin was held from Calvary Baptist church Thursday afternoon, June 9th, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. She is survived by the following relatives: aunts, Mrs. Belle Foster, Omaha; Mrs. Lettie Harris, Topeka; uncles, Leroy Mack, Chicago; Pearl Mack, Huntley A. Mack, Fred Mack, Seth Mack, all of Topeka; Milo Mack, Prescott, Ariz.; Richard Mack, Dover, Okla.; Allen Mack, Portland, Ore.; sister in law, Miss Frances Austin, Topeka, Mrs. Lena Robinson, Omaha, and Mrs. Addie Lock, Kansas City, Mo.; Step-sisters, Mrs. Carrie Grear, Bonner Springs, and Mrs. Anna Dial, Kansas City, Kansas; her mother, Mrs. Emma Buckner, and grandmother, Mrs. Maria Frazier, reside in this city. BAILEY
Baby Gertrude Bailey was burned to death Tuesday at the home of her parents on West B street. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the house and interment was in Topeka cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, March 13, 1908)

BOYLE
Mrs. Hanna Boyle died of heart failure yesterday morning at the home of her son, Attorney General L. C. Boyle, of 1100 Taylor Street. Mrs. Boyle was 56 years old and a native of Canada. She had been ill for several months, and her death was expected. Her four children were at her side when the end came. The children are Mrs. George W. Cook of Denver, Charles Boyle of Cleveland, Ohio, Walter Boyle of Creede, Colo., and Attorney General L. C. Boyle of Topeka. The funeral will take place at 5 o'clock this afternoon at Grace Cathedral. Interment will be in Topeka Cemetery. (Kansas Semi-Weekly Capital, Sept. 7, 1897)

BROOKS
Funeral services for Matilda Brooks, age 76, of 1018 Washington, were held August 12 at the Antioch Baptist Church. She died August 10. Burial was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, August 20, 1926)

BROWN
Mrs. Fannie Brown, 51, died August 31st at her late home at 1405 Lake Street. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, Eudora and Miss Irene Brown, Topeka; three sons, Fred Stewart, Topeka, John Brown, Phoenix, Ariz. and Frank Brown, Chicago. BROWN
Mrs. Nannie Brown died last Friday morning at Christ's Hospital. Services were held from her home, 1010 East 10th Ave. with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, James Brown, her father, Byron Jordan, a son, Maurice Brown, three sisters, Mrs. Addie Wilson of Los Angeles, Mrs. Carrie Moore of Kansas City and Mrs. Lillian Jones of Topeka. BURNSIDES
Mr. Arthur Burnsides, aged 23, died November 28th of lung trouble at his residence, 719 Locust street. Funeral was held at Stonestreet and Hamilton;s undertaking rooms, and the remains were interred in Topeka cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, Dec. 4, 1908)

BURTON
Rev. Robert Burton, 72, died August 9th at his home at 715 E. 10th St. Services were held August 11 at St. John A.M.E. church, with burial in Topeka Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, August 20, 1926)

CALDWELL
Mrs. Martha Caldwell died on the 8th inst., at her residence, 124 North Van Buren, of cancer of the stomach. The funeral was held the next day from the Presbyterian church, the Rev. I. C. Nicholson officiating. Deceased was 28 years of age and had lived in Topeka all of her life. Interment in Topeka Cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, April 15, 1910)

CARAUTH
Mrs. Drusilli Woodall Carauth, 60 died Dec. 10 in Williamson, Kansas. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Nancy Russell and sister, Mrs. Carrie Knott, both of Topeka. Services were Tuesday afternoon from Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, Dec. 16, 1927)

CLARK
Services for Henry Clark, who died in a local hospital after an attack of pneumonia, were held Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Stonestreet Chapel, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, Jan. 11, 1924)

COLEMAN
Services for Green J. Coleman, 80, who died August 6 at his home at 1199 Lincoln St., were held August 10th at Sl. John's A.M.E. church, with burial in Topeka Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, August 20, 1926)

COOK
The funeral of Mrs. Lizzie Cook was held from Stonestreet's chapel last Wednesday morning. The burial was in Ritchie Cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, June 17, 1921)

CRANE
The body of Dr. F. L. Crane arrived from New Mexico at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, accompanied by his son Jesse Crane and family. They were met at the Santa Fe depot by Mr. Geo. W. Crane and family, and about fifty members of Lincoln Post, G. A. R.. who took charge of the remains and conveyed them to the residence of Mr. Geo. W. Crane, on the corner of Ninth and Harrison streets. There they laid until 2 o'clock yesterday, at which time the funeral was held. Everything was in charge of the Grand Army. At 1:30 o'clock Lincoln Post, 100 Strong, Lincoln Lost Drum Corps, and Old Abe Camp. Sons of Veterans, headed by Prof. Heck's band, marched to the house, where already a large number of people and carriages were waiting. From there they bore the body to the First Congregational Church, where the funeral services were held. There they were met by Lodge No. 3, I. O. O. F., sixty members, the old Musical Union, and a large number of citizens. Dr. F. S. McCabe preached the funeral sermon. It was a request of the deceased while living that he should do so, and that request was fulfilled. As the coffin was carried into the church. Professor Slie played a dirge on the organ. The pall bearers were comrades W. R. Goodenough, J. L. Sheldon. L Slocum, E. N. Morehouse, J. P. Marion, J, C. Langston, Jno. Surtis and Joel Huntoon.

The Musical Union, an organization which Dr. Crane assisted in founding, furnished the music. The members present were: Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Martin, Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Church. Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Remington, Mrs. S. J. Crawford, Mrs. C. J. Brown, Mrs. George A. Finch, Mrs. Samuel Hall, Miss Mary Stewart. Miss Florence Fox, Miss Ruth Price, Miss Lizzie Officer, Prof. Henry Worrall, Prof. 1. S. Slie, Wm. Hall Jenkins, Rev. L. Plakesley, Frank Drummond and A. P. Wilder.

After Dr. McCabe had read a short lesson, 'The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want,' Dr. Peter McVicar offered prayer. (Topeka Daily Commonweath, Nov. 25, 1884)

CROCKETT
George W. Crockett died July 27 at his home, 1210 N. Madison St. Funeral was held Wednesday from New Hope Primitive Baptist church, the Rev. J. S. Street, of Ft. Scott, officiating. Interment was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Mr. Crockett was one of the old citizens of Topeka, well known and highly respected. Besides his immediate family, he leaves a large number of friends among both races, who deeply regret his demise. (Topeka Plaindealer, Aug. 2, 1918)

DAVIS
Mrs. Lillie Davis, 20, died at her home at 514 N. Topeka Ave. on August 3rd. Services were August 6th from Central Baptist church, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, August 20, 1926)

DINWIDDLE
George Ivey Dinwiddle was born July 4, 1872 at Windsor, Canada; died June 1, 1920 at Cleveland, Ohio. He came to Kansas with his parents in the latter part of the '70's and was a resident of Topeka during his boyhood days. He was a part owner of the American Steam Laundry at one time and spent a great deal of money in Topeka real estate and business property. He traveled extensively in the United States and Old Mexico, owning several concessions near the city of Mexico. He leaves a sister Mrs. Nellie Hall, an uncle, Mr. Henry Dinwiddle, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The remains of Mr. Dinwiddle arrived here Sunday from Cleveland, accompanied by his nephew Mr. Leon Hall. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from the home of his sister, Mrs. Nellie Hall. The remains were taken to Mt. Auburn Cemetery, accompanied by family and many boyhood friends. EDMONDS
Mr. Pompey Edmonds, aged 95 years, died Saturday, June 21, at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral was Monday afternoon, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. He had lived in Topeka for the past 39 years. He is survived by his sons, Hayden, John and Henry Edmonds, of Topeka, and Edward Edmonds of Chicago. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, June 27, 1919)

ELLIS
Alvin John Ellis, one year old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ellis, died Sunday. Services were Monday afternoon from Stonestreet's Chapel, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, March 28, 1924)

ELLIS
Services for John Ellis, 68, were held August 9th at Stonestreet chapel. Mr. Ellis died August 6th at a local hospital. Interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, August 20, 1926)

ENIX
Word has been received here of the death in Joliet, Ill., Thursday, of James Enix, aged 24 years, who home is at 1116 Washington St. He was an ex-serviceman, having served overseas with Co. D. of the 803 Pioneer Infantry and was a member of the Daughters of Liberty lodge and the Jordan Patterson Post of the American Legion, who had charge of the funeral, which was held at the Third Baptist church, Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Mt. ESTES
Criss Estes, 43, died last week in a local hospital. Services were held from Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Survivors include the mother, Mrs. Fannie Robinson; daughters, Misses Marie and Cecelia Estes, Los Angeles, Calif. and uncles Ephraim Woods and John Woods of Topeka. FISHER
We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Caroline Fisher, formerly of Topeka, which occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laura Chiles Selectman at Okarche, Okla., with whom she made her home for the last few years. GREER
Services for Mrs. Lila Greer, who died April 1st, will be Saturday afternoon at Lane Chapel, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Mrs. Greer was born Jan. 25, 1879 in Topeka. As a child her family moved to Colorado, but she later returned to Topeka and had lived here since that time. She is survived by her husband, Mathew Greer, and two brothers, Edward Johnson of New York City and Fred Newman of Topeka. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, April 4, 1924)

HAGEN

Services for William Hahn were held Oct. 31 from the Hamilton Undertaking Establishment, with the Exodus Lodge No. 31, Grand United Order of Odd Fellow in charge; burial was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Mr. Hahn died Oct. 25 in Parsons. He is survived by a brother, Henry Hahn, of Leavenworth and an aunt, Mrs. Gouch, of Topeka. Mr. Hahn formerly lived in this city. Mrs. Fannie Harmon, who died in Kansas City, June 25th, was buried in this city in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Funeral held from Mt. Carmel Baptist church. (Topeka Plain Dealer, July 14, 1922)

Mrs. Annie Harris, aged 44 years, died March 21st of lung trouble at her residence three miles south of the city on the Burlingame road. Funeral was held at the residence on the 22nd, and interment was in Ritchie's cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, March 27, 1908)

HENDERSON
The body of Edgar Henderson, the 5 year old son of Rev. and Mrs. R. C. Henderson of Hutchinson, Kansas, was buried in this city last week in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Rev. J. R. Mrs. Lucy Johnson, 55, died Friday morning at her home, route 8. She is survived by her husband, Perry Johnson; three sons, Charles Carrington, Kansas City, Mo., and John and Albert Carrington, both of Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Gomez of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Anna Harris, Tecumseh; two brothers, Charles Fields, Topeka and Thomas Fields, Kansas City, Kans.; an aunt, Mrs. France Hutchinson, Wichita; an uncle, Charles Bostoh, San Bernadino, Calif. KING
Beryl, the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert King, 511 East First street, died on the 8th of summer complaint. Funeral was held the next day from the residence. Interment in Topeka Cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, April 15, 1910)

KING
Mr. Simon King, aged 76 years, died at his residence at 320 East First street April 10th of an injury sustained from a fall. The funeral was held from the late residence on the 11th, Rev. G. W. Henry officiating. Deceased was a native of Kentucky, but has resided in this city for many years. Interment was in Topeka cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, April 15, 1910)

LAMBERSON
Horace Lamberson died at his residence, 325 Quincy St., Nov. 10. He was born in Stevenson, Alabama and had lived in Kansas for the last 40 years. He is survived by his widow and three daughters, including Mrs. Clara Green of Chicago who came in for the funeral. Burial was at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.(abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, Nov. 13, 1925)

The funeral of John P. Lane was held from Lane Chapel, C.M.E. church, in charge of Excelsior Lodge, No. 3, K. of P. Burial in Mt. Auburn cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, June 17, 1921)

Funeral services for Miss Mary Lane, 66, were March 21st, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Miss Lane died March 19th. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, March 22, 1929)

LEWIS
Mrs. Eliza Lewis, 111 E. 18th St., an old and respected citizen, died July 26th. Funeral was held July 29 from Stonestreet's Chapel, the Rev. T. L. Griffith, officiated. The deceased was a devout Christian and besides a daughter, Miss Pearl Lewis, she leaves a sister, Mrs. Hayden Edmonds, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn their loss. MCADOO
Mrs. Lulu McAdoo died last week in Junction City, and her body brought to Topeka, where services were held Sunday afternoon, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. She was a former resident of this city, and is survived by her husband, Anderson McAdoo, a son, Noel McAdoo and her brother, H. I. Monroe of Topeka. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, Nov. 8, 1918)

MCDONALD
Frank McDonald, 76, died at his home at 1014 Boswell on August 2nd. Services were August 5th at Stonestreet's chapel, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, August 20, 1926)

MARTIN
Mrs. Amanda Martin, age 59 years, died March 15 of la grippe, at her residence, 1210 Buchanan street. The funeral was held on the 17th inst., from the Shiloh Baptist church under the auspices of Pearly Rose Tabernacle, No. 77, of which she was an honored member. Interment in the Topeka Cemetery. MOORE
Mrs. Mary Moore, 61, wife of Mr. P. B. Moore, died Sunday night at her home at 1501 Quincy St. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from Stonestreet's Chapel. Burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, June 4, 1920)

OFFICER
James William Officer died Oct. 7 at his mother's home in Paxico. Services will be Friday at Paxico at the C.M.E. church. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Emma West; two daughters, Mrs. Imogene Naphue of St. Paul, Minn., and Miss Vira Officer of Topeka; five sons, Merrill of Kansas City; Homer, Herman, Harold and Dean, all of Topeka; one sister, Mrs. Mary Chiles, Topeka and one brother, Mr. David Driver of Topeka. PARKER
Stephen W. Parker, age 78 died at his residence, 1156 Buchanan. He was a soldier of the Civil War and served in the 24th Infantry. He was an officer of Shiloh Baptist Church and a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and Knights of Tabor. Funeral was held Sept. 18, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. PASHO
Maxim Pasho, aged 87 years, died at his home in Grand Haven Wednesday, and the remains will be brought here for burial. The funeral will be held at the Church of the Assumption on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. (Kansas Semi-Weekly Capital, March 26, 1901)

PERRY
Miss Henrietta Perry, of 1169 Lincoln street, died July 5th. The funeral was held July 8th, from Shiloh Baptist church. Burial in Mount Auburn Cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, July 14, 1922)

PATTEN
Oliver Patten, aged 18 years, died on the 12th inst., at the State Hospital of pulmonary tuberculosis. The body was shipped to Troy for interment. (Topeka Plain Dealer, April 15, 1910)

PATTERSON
Miss Eva S. Patterson, aged 19, died Saturday afternoon at her home at 1220 Buchanan street, after an illness of several months, of consumption. Miss Patterson was born and reared in Topeka, and recently graduated from the Feb., '08 class of Topeka High School. She was a young girl who was admired by all who knew her. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the AME church and interment at Richie's cemetery. The deceased was survived by a father, sister and two brothers. (Topeka Plaindealer, Sept. 25, 1908)

PERRY
Funeral services for James Perry, 55, who died last Sunday morning at his home on route 28, will be held from the St. John's A.M.E. church Tuesday afternoon. Burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (Topeka Plaindealer, July 1, 1921)

Bessie Hyde Perkins, 36, of Fall City Nebraska, died August 4th in Topeka. Services were August 7th from Calvary Baptist church, with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, August 20, 1926)

POPE
Mrs. Louisa Pope, age 69 years, died on the 20th inst. at her late residence, 1188 Lincoln street. She was a native of Virginia and came to Kansas in the early days. The funeral was held from Mt. Hope Baptist church and interment was in Richie cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, March 27, 1908)

PRICE
The many friends of Mrs. Eliza Price regret to note her death which occurred Friday of last week. She was buried in Rochester cemetery on Sunday. Deceased was an old citizen of Topeka, the widow of the Rev. W. H. Price, founder of the Presbyterian church on the North Side, from which her funeral was held. The church is now known as Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Price was a member of Rebecca Chapter, No. 8, O. E. S., who officiated at the funeral. She leaves four children, William, who resides in Oklahoma; Ulysses, of Kansas City; Miss Ida Scott and Miss Carrie Price of this city, who have the sympathy of a host of friends in their bereavement. QUARRELS
Mrs. Julia Quarrels, age 71, died Sept. 12, 1922 at her residence, 912 N. Glay St. The funeral was held Sept. 14. 1922 at the Second Baptist Church, of which deceased was a member, Rev. Burton officiating. Mrs. Quarrels is survived by a husband, Benjamin Quarrels, a daughter, Mrs. William Porter, and a son, Sol. High, prominent grocerman on the North Side. Burial at Mt. RADFORD
Frank Radford, age 65 years, died in Kansas City, Mo., August 21. Body was shipped to Topeka and funeral held at Stonestreet Chapel. Burial in Topeka cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, Sept. 1, 1922)

RADFORD
The funeral of Mr. Theo Radford, aged 40, son of Mr. Frank Radford, who passed away at Kansas City, Mo., last Friday, was held Monday afternoon from Stonestreet's chapel. Burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. (Topeka Plaindealer, July 1, 1921)

RANSOM
Jean Lois Ransom died Sunday January 18th. Services were held January 20th at Brown's Chapel, with interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. She was beloved by her schoolmates and will be missed in this community. She is survived by her father and mother, Dr. and Mrs. Louis Ransom and a sister, Ethel Louise (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, Jan. 23, 1931)

RENTIE
Mrs. Margaret Rentie, 55, died last Thursday. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Elvira Williams, Tulsa; Mrs. Georgia Douglas and Mrs. Beatrice Johnson, Jenks, Okla.; Mrs. Mosell Sims, Tulsa and Misses Gladys and Algeretta Walker, Topeka; two sons, Nathan and Kermie Walker of Topeka; two brothers, Henry Breedlove and John Breedlove, both of Wagoner, Okla. The body was taken to Tulsa for burial. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, Oct. 9, 1931)

STEELE
David James Steele, age 7 months, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Steele, died August 28 at the residence of his parents, 604 E. 12th St. (Topeka Plain Dealer, Sept. 1, 1922)

TURNER
Mrs. Clara Turner died Nov. 5 at her home three miles north of the city. She is survived by her husband, Robert Turner, and five children. Burial Thursday afternoon in Rochester Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, Nov. 8, 1918)

TWINDELL
Services for Fanney Twindell, who died March 13th in Topeka, were held March 15th in Newton.(abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, March 22, 1929)

WALKER
Andrew Walker, who for several weeks had been ill of typhoid fever at his residence, 915 North Lincoln street, passed away on the 18th inst. He was 57 years of age, a conscientious Christian, being a member of the B Street Baptist church. He was also an honored and faithful worker in Kaw Valley Lodge, No. 18, A. F. & A. M., being one of its past masters. The funeral was held Sunday from the B Street Baptist church under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity. It was one of the largest turnouts of Masons ever seen in Topeka. His remains were laid to rest in the Topeka cemetery. (Topeka Plain Dealer, March 27, 1908)

WALLACE
Alfred Wallace, 88, died Sunday morning at his rural home, on Rt. 3, North Topeka. Services were Tuesday from Central Baptist Church, with burial in Mt. Auburn. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, March 28, 1924)

WARDEN
Miss Minnie E. Warden, daughter of E. E. Warden, died at her home, 514 Tyler Street, this morning at 12:30, after a long illness. The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning from the residence (Kansas Semi-Weekly Capital, March 26, 1901)

WARREN
Mrs. Berrw (?) Warren, 82 died March 4 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Mothel, 433 E. Euclid. Services were March 7th, with interment in Topeka Cemetery. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, March 22, 1929)

WELLS
George Wells, 72, died in Topeka March 14th. Burial was in Nelson, Missouri. (abstract, Topeka Plaindealer, March 22, 1929)

WINGETT
Mr. Cephas Wingett, father of Bryan Wingett, deceased near Alma last Wednesday. He leaves four children to grieve their loss, Mr. Bryan Wingett being the eldest and Josiah the youngest. He was buried in Topeka cemetery last Sunday. His funeral was conducted from the residence of Mr. Bryan Wingett, 1710 Van Buren st., this city, Sunday. (Topeka State Ledger, Feb. 15, 1895)

WOODS
Mrs. Ellen Woods died at her residence on Fourth street in Abilene on Friday. The remains were taken to her old home in Topeka, on Sunday, where the funeral services were held and interred in the Topeka cemetery. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the many friends in both Abilene and Topeka. (Topeka Plain Dealer, July 21, 1916)
