We visited Wellington, KS, last summer trying to locate information on Uriah Osborn 1843-1909 and Hettie Osborn 1844-1912, but due to the disorganization of vital records (which we were told were located across the street from the court house at the Historical Museum), we ran into a brick wall. Uriah was my husband's great-grandfather and Uriah and his wife are buried in the Conway Springs Cemetery. We know that Uriah moved west from the Elkhart, IN, area, but know very little beyond that. We did find land deeds at the court house in both Uriah and Hettie's names. We are searching for anything that might lead us to other members of the family.
