ATWOOD
Helen T. Atwood, age 48, died July 8th in a Wichita hospital. A Wichita resident for 20 years, Mrs. Atwood was born in Rush Center. She is survived by a son, William T. Routon, Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Vann, Wichita; a brother, Charles Petrik, Russell and six sisters, Mrs. Frances Steffens and Mrs. Betty Anderson, of Hutchinson; Mrs Lilyan Daniels, of Wichita; Mrs. Harry Wilson Wilson and Mrs. Mary Schmidt, both of La Crosse; and Mrs. W. L. McNemar, Beatrice, Neb. Services will be tomorrow at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in La Crosse. (abstract, Wichita Eagle July 10, 1969)


BLANTON
J. R. Blanton, former Dodge City resident, who removed to Rush County about 18 months ago, died at his home in that county about two weeks ago. Mr. Blanton was a Baptist preacher and will be remembered by many citizens of this town. (Dodge City Times, Feb. 25, 1886)


IRVIN
Ivy J. Irvin, 81, died May 29th. He was a retired farmer and stockman of McCracken, and was a lifelong resident of Rush County. He is survived by his wife, Ada; two sons, Dean and Bev, both of McCracken; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Goering, of Tulsa and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Schyrack, Nampa, Idaho. Services will be tomorrow at Hoover Funeral Home, with burial in McCracken Cemetery. (abstract, Wichita Eagle May 31, 1968)


RENNER
Luie Ann Renner, age 90, died Thursday, Dec. 26. Services will be held tomorrow at Columbia St. Methodist Church in La Crosse, with burial in La Crosse City Cemetery. She was a lifelong resident of Rush County. She was preceded in death by her husband, S. A., in 1946. She is survived by three sons, Ben, Osage City; Harve, La Crosse; and Frank, Rush Center;and four daughters, Mrs. Ed Nickel and Mrs. Jack Kramer, Wichita (other two not named).
