Riley County History
Below is the little book "Riley County-The Blue Ribbon County" published by the Manhattan Nationalist in 1881. It is edited from the original, in interest of both space and genealogical information. Some of the townships, such as Manhattan and Grant, include a lot of information; some of the farther flung townships, such as Mayday and Swede Creek, not as much. The "Manhattan Business Directory," as published in the book, can be found on the "Directories" section of this website.
