DELPH--Died On Thursday, Aug. 31, 1882, in Phillipsburg, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Delph. Mr. D. is absent in the mountains. The afflicted family have the sympathy of the community. (Phillipsburg Herald, September 7, 1882)


DIMOND-- Ann Willis Gaumer Dimond died September 16, 2002. She was born August 2, 1918, to U.S. Grant and Grace Brewer, in Kirwin, Kansas. She married John Franz Gaumer in 1937; he preceded her in death in 1973. She married Herbert M. Dimond in 1975; he preceded her in death in 1994. She is survived by her son, Grant (Kay) Gaumer; her daughter, Jane (Alan) Montgomery; stepson, Lyman (Doris) Dimon; stepdaughter, Shirley (Herb) Jones; brother, Warren (Helene) Willis; sisters-in-law, Forrest Willis and Dot Hoover; brothers-in-law, Don (Beth) Dimond and Kenneth (Janet) Dimond; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held September 19, 2002 at George H. Lewis & Sons Chapel. (abstract, Houston Chronicle, Sept. 18, 2002)
