LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF PATRICK DAVIN
State of Kansas, Geary County
This, the last Will and Testament of Patrick Davin of Geary County, Kansas. Witnesseth:
That being of sound mind and disposing memory, I do make and publish this, my last Will and Testament.
1st. I give and bequeath unto my daughter, Bridget Underwood; to my daughter Mary Beavers; to my son Peter Davin; to my daughter Maggie Wallace and to my daughter Sarah Davin, each one dollar.
2nd. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Kate Davin; to my son John Davin and to my daughter Celia Davin the sum of one hundred dollar ($100) each.
3rd. I give and bequeath unto my son James Davin a span of horses.
4th. I give and devise unto my wife Mary Davin one half of my property both real and personal.
5th. I give an devise unto my son Anthony Davin, subject to the payment of all just debts against my estate and the legacies above provided, all the rest and residue of my property, both real and personal.
6th. In the case I shall survive by said wife I give and bequeath to my said son Anthony Davin the one half which my wife would take in case she survived me, in addition to the share devised to him in item number 5.
I hereby appoint my son Anthony Davin my executor of this my last Will and Testament and it is my will and wish that he not be required to give bond.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto signed my name in the presence of the witnesses whose names are subscribed hereto, this 21st day of November, 1901.
