CHARLES B. BAUMGARTEN

Came to this county in 1879  from Cawker City, Kansa.; has been engaged in farming and stock raising ever since. He lives in a fine residence on his large farm in Liberty township and is considered one of the well-to-do solid men of the county. He has always read the HERALD since its first issue and has ever been a good friend to the paper.
