W. H. TAYLOR
In the year 1878 Mr. Taylor living in Iowa and who had been in poor health for several years conceived the idea that he might find a country where he could enjoy better health. Coming west he settled in Custer township and in a short time was pleased to find his health returning. He finally made up his mind that he wanted a creek farm and moved to his present farm on the Prairie Dog which he has improved and has a pleasant and comfortable home.
Mr. Taylor served as probate judge one term some twenty years ago and has always taken an active part in politics in the county and a Democrat convention would be incomplete should Taylor stay away. He has taken the HERALD for 30 years and still enjoys reading it.
