The above is one of the old soldier boys who came to this country in the year of 1873 settling on the Sappa about 16 miles northeast of Oberlin. He has served the county as commissioner, and also as representative in the Legislature. Mr. Wiggins was always a successful man, and has amassed a good sized fortune which he has given to his children when he gets thru with it. Mr. Wiggins has always been a good friend of the HERALD and was one of the men who was anxious to have a paper started in the town of Oberlin.
