One of the men who came to this county was Daniel Caster who hails from Ohio. For thirty years Mr. Caster has lived on a farm and is finely situated in a modern residence four miles from Oberlin. He has served the county one term as commissioner and has represented the county two terms in the Legislature. Mr. Caster is a hard working unassuming man and for years has been recognized as one of the Decatur counties most respected citizens.
