E-mail from C.J. Huck to Jerry Ferrin, 14 Sept 2006,
regarding the above photos:

Jerry,

The pictures I sent are unclassified, so there isn't a problem putting them online. However, I will have to dig a little deeper to find out the ship's names. My column is on the right hand side as you look at the picture. That's the USS Ronald Reagan, followed by us (the USS Lake Champlain), then the DDG Decatur, and DDG McCampbell - I'm not sure which order those two are in. The other carriers were the Abraham Lincoln, and the Kittyhawk. The planes were Air Force. It was part of a joint exercise, but I'm not sure if the jets are F-14's or F-16's. I'm not very savvy on the aviation side of the house. Thanks for all your help. That website is great. When our internet is working, I sometimes go to it and show the guys what it's like back home. Since most of them are from cities, they find it pretty interesting. Anyway, we're getting underway today so I need to go, but thanks again,

Very Respectfully,
ET2 (SW) C.J. Huck

"Dan Huck standing in the pasture next to one of C.J. Huck's mares.
This is a Zan Bee Freckles 2001 mare that fits CJ's program well.
CJ is breeding mares to achieve good ranch and roping horses.
He wants a strong, stout steed with a lot of heart thats not too tall."
