The Coldwater Review, March 2, 1888.

District Court Proceedings.

The March term of the district court convenied Tuesday, Judge Ellis presiding, Frank Meyer, clerk, D. T. McIntire, sheriff, with Crail Wiley and C. D. Pauley, deputies. The attorneys from a distance are Ed. Sample and W. S. Denton, Medicine Lodge, W. A. McCartney, Ashland, W. K. McKinney, Hutchinson, W. J. Patterson, Lawrence, Mr. Wood, Wellington, Mr. Brooks, Wichita. Our local attorneys were out in full force.

M. S. Miles vs Geo. F. Bocock and J. W. Linnens; motion to retax costs overruled.

Hattie P. Fox vs Jno W. Linnens; motion to retax overruled.

J. M. Nichols vs Fred Hurlbut; settlement on case made.

J. C. Lappin vs H. H. Rich; 30 days given defendant to make cause for supreme court.

C. G. Morton vs Lawrence Green; judgement for plaintiff for $30.

C. C. Pepperd vs Patrick Pepperd; continued.

J. F. Jeans vs J. E. Sombart; continued by agreement.

J. H. Bardwell, C. C. Binckley, H. W. Colville vs C. K. & W. R. R.; dismissed at cost of defendants.

Benj. Howarth vs C. K. & W. R. R.; continued by agreement.
