LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF WILLIAM BONSOR

IN THE NAME OF THE MOST BENEVOLENT FATHER OF ALL, I, William Bonsor of Five Creeks township, in the County of Clay and the State of Kansas, being in my right mind and in full possession of my reasoning faculties, do hereby declare this my last will and testament.

First, it is my will that out of my property all my just debts shall be paid when they become due and payable.

Second, it is my will, and I do hereby will and bequeath to my beloved wife Ann Bonsor all my property both real and personal and mixed, to have, hold and control the same as her own during the period of her natural life.

Third, it is my will that at the death of my wife, Ann Bonsor, that all my property shall then be equally divided between each of my children, namely, Thomas Bonsor, Arthur Charles Bonsor, William Clement Bonsor, Mary Elizabeth Bonsor (now Morris), and Charlotte Ann Bonsor.

Fourth, it is my will that at any time any of my debt that may be a lien upon my homestead shall become due, and my said wife Ann Bonsor shall be unable to pay the same, that in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, that she cause enough, and only enough of said homestead to be sold to pay off said debt against said homestead, the remainder to be and remain in possession of and under the full care and control of my said wife, Ann Bonsor, during her natural life.

Fifth, it is my will that my beloved sister, Charlotte Bonsor, shall have a home with my said wife on my homestead, and have the right to live thereon and make it her home free of charge during her natural life, providing she shall not survive my said wife, and provided she and my said wife can live peaceably together, and also provided that my said wife shall have full care and control of said house and homestead.

I hereby appoint Helmut N. Dawson of Clay County, Kansas, executor of this my last will and testament.

In testimony where I have hereunto fixed my name this 14th day of July, A. D. 1884.
