LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ANNA KIPP

I, Anna Kipp, being of sound mind, memory and discretion do make and publish this my last will and testament.

Item first--I give and bequeath to my son Norman Kipp my farm situated in Clay County and State of Kansas, to wit: the NW 1/4 of Sec. 5, Town 9 Range 4 East, containing 160 acres, more or less. Subject however to the folowing terms and conditions within one year after my death it is my will and pleasure that my said son, Norman Kipp, pay to my son Hiram Kipp one hundred dollars and to my son William Kipp when he arrives at the age of 21 years, one hundred dollars, and also to George Kipp, my son, fifty dollars within one year after my death.

Item second--I give and bequeath to my daughter Rachel Randall, intermarried with Sylvanus Randall, one cow and an equal share of the furniture and household and other property I may have at the time of my death, after deducting therefrom the amount hereinafter bequeathed to my daughter Julia Ingersoll, intermarried with Theodore Ingersoll, it being my will that my personal estate be divided equally between my daughters except or after the amount hereinafter bequeathed to Julia is taken out.

Item third--I give to Julia Ingersoll a cow, a feather bed, and the necessary bed clothes belonging thereto marked with the legates names thereon, and one bureau.

Item fourth--It is further my will and pleasure that in addition to the terms, conditions and limitations under which my son Norman takes the real estate above described it is my will that after my death he shall furnish and place at my grave tombstones of the value of thirty five dollars, at least.

Item fifth--I hereby appoint Barnard Ristine of Clay County, Kansas, to be executor of this my last will and testament.

In testamony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name in the presence of C. M. Anthony and William Ogden, witnesses hereto, who sign the same as witnesses in my presence and in the presence of each other, the 25th day of October, 1879.
