Meeting called to order by J. J. Marty, President

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Election of officers being next in order, the following were duly elected:

J. J. Marty, Pres.; A. M. Story, Vice Pres., Minnie Dieter, Sec.; W. W. Stewart, Treas.; Harry Wasw, Marshall: W. W. Stewart, Janitor

The following committee on question was appointed: M. H. Panton, A. M. Story, Henry Hammerli.

The following entertainment program was then carried out: Song, Elmer Mull; Song, Sibbie Gaghart; Song, Lettie Johnson; Song, Jack and Flem Gabhart; Declamation, Charles Johnson; Declamation, May Wade; Song, J. J. Marty; Song, M. H. Panton

Recess

Following recess the committee on question for next evening reported as follows: "Resolved, that a lawyer is justified in defending a bad cause."

The following named persons were named as debators of the question: Affirmative--A. M. Story, J. J. Marty, B. E. Ford, H. Gordon, Geo. Dieter Sr., Harry Wade. Negative: H. Hammerli, V. A. Stewart, W. W. Stewart, Geo. Dieter, Jr., Charles Collins, Henry Schuldt. The question: "Resolved, that no one should be allowed to vote unless able to read and write intelligently," was discussed.

Result: one for the affirmation, two for the negative.

On motion the Lyceum adjourned.
