After an illness covering a period of only about three week, Mrs. C. J. Darner quietly passed into the Great Beyond last Tuesday evening at her home two miles east of Longford. The funeral services were held at the home today, the sermon being delivered by Rev. R. N. Buckner, and she was laid to rest in the Mizpah cemetery. Although for several days it has been generally known that there could be no hope entertained for her recovery, and while her death was not a shock, yet it was no less lamentable; as it is always sad to lose a wife and mother so devoted to her family, so happy and cheerful, so kind and dutiful, and our heart goes out to the bereaved family
