Sarah Ann Utz Hartzell was the widow of William Hartzell, died Oct. 31, 1863 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was a member of Co. D, 13th Kansas Regiment. Below are pages from her pension file, including copied records from the family bible, and affidavits from Sarah and others.
