Corp. George Otenbaker, who served with the 298th Engineers' Battalion, United States Army, was killed in action in Germany April 7. Corp. Otenbaker formerly was employed in the New York Central Police Department at Detroit as a Patrolman, having begun work there May 1, 1937. He was furloughed March 23, 1943, to enter the Army.
