FORMER AND PRESENT MEMBERS WHO HAVE DISTINGUISHED THEMSELVES IN ACTION:
Captain Samuel R. Millen 0509091, received the Croix de Guerre for exceptional services in connection with the liberation of France, per Decision Number 341, and order of the General of the Army JUIN [sic], dated 29 January 1945.

On the second day of its infancy the two Medical officers arrived. Lieut. Samuel R. Millen took command of the Dispensary and Lieut. Theodore F. Carter became Dental Officer. March 20, Lieut. Joe F. Sewell arrived from Camp Pickett, Virginia, and was assigned company ommander of C Company. Lieut. Herman Webel Jr. was named Acting Adjutant awaiting the arrival of Lieut. Bruce E. Pettit on March 30.

As an extra, added attraction Capt Millen, Bn Surg, jitter bugs with Miss Carrevale, but only after considerable urging on her part as well as the audience. The show was well received and loudly applauded
