Pvt. T. E. Hassinger is Killed in Germany
Pvt. Thomas E. Hassinger, 32, was killed in action in Germany Sept. 28 his wife, Elna, 318 Mary St., has been notified. The soldier, overseas since February landed in France June 7 with an engineering division. Pvt. Hassinger was inducted in March, 1943 while employed by AC. The soldier's mother, Mrs. Jenny Haley, died shortly after he left the United States. Survivors besides his wife, include, a daughter, Mary Ann; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Miller, Flint and a step-father, Leo Haley, Flint
