39. Amos RATCLIFF¹ was born on 1 February 1765 in Dobbs County, North Carolina. He died on 2 October 1842 at the age of 77 in Delaware County, Indiana.

Amos and Eleanor Cashatt were married Cane Creek Monthly Meeting, Chatham Co NC. Eleanor was a sister to Rachel, another daughter of John & Margaret Cashatt. Probably four of the children of John & Margaret Cashatt married into this Ratcliff family.

Amos RATCLIFF and Eleanor CASHATT were married on 7 November 1787 in Chatham County, North Carolina. Eleanor CASHATT, daughter of JOHN CASHATT and Margaret [CASHATT], was born on 25 March 1768 in Chatham County, North Carolina. She died after 1850 at the age of 82.

98	x.	Thomas RATCLIFF was born on 30 March 1808 in Highland County, Ohio. He died on 19 July 1844 at the age of 36. Married Elizabeth Hart. His death is apparently recorded in his brother's Bible Thomas Ratcliff, died July 19, 1844, age 36 years, 3 months, 20 days.
