18. Hannah Charity PICKEL was born on 20 March 1754 in High Bridge, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. She died on 21 July 1846 at the age of 92 in Cokesbury, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

Hannah Charity PICKEL and Jacob APGAR were married on 2 December 1781. Jacob APGAR was born on 18 July 1746 in Rotterdam, Germany. He died on 5 May 1814 at the age of 67 in Cokesbury, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

Jacob was a yeoman and blacksmith. He owned the farm where Cole Alpaugh farmed, 1/2 mile NW of Cokesbury. His will was probated on April 21, 1814. All property was divided equally between the 12 children after the death of his widow. Executors were sons, Frederick and Conrad Apgar. Inventory - $6,808.59 made by Conrad Apgar and John Hoffman.

Jacob Apgar, b. 18 July 1746, d. 6 May 1814, m. Hannah Charity Pickle, daughter of Conrad; Hannah was b. 20 Mar 1754, d. 21 Jul 1846. Jacob and Hannah are buried at Lebanon, NJ.

Note: Records of the Lebanon Church show a first wife of Jacob as Gertraud and the first 6 children as hers, (2) wife as Hannah.
