Buried Palm Cemetery, Rushville, Schuyler Co IL. He is said to have died Jan 15, 1927 at age 58, from a heart attack suffered while watering horses east of his homestead. He died intestate and copies of the estate settlement are posted in a Family Tree at Ancestry.com. The widow Columbia and son Charles A. were administrators and settled the accounts in full, paying out remaining shares to Columbia and the three children.

Edwin Delbert IRWIN and Columbia HOUSER were married on 17 May 1891 in Schuyler County, Illinois. Columbia HOUSER⁴⁵ was born on 11 November 1868 in Illinois. She died on 9 August 1956 at the age of 87 in Schuyler County, Illinois.
