Alice JONES^67,145 was born on 4 August 1878 in Texas.^145,176 She died on 19 September 1967 at the age of 89 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.

In 1900, Alice Jones was living with her uncle John W. Haden in Bonham. She was a teacher. Her father born in Virginia. Birth given as July 1877, but her grave marker has 4 Aug 1878, a date also on her death certificate and with Social Security.

Alice Jones died 19 Sep 1967 at Bristol General Hospital, Dallas, TX. Her residence was 2314 Kirby St, Dallas - she had lived in Dallas for some 60 years. She died of heart disease. Alice was born 4 Aug 1878 in Bonham, TX, and had never been married. She was a teacher in th public schools. Her father's name was unavailable; her mother listed as "Bergie" Hayden. Homer C. Hyde was the informant - probably her brother-in-law, or a nephew. She was buried September 21st, Hillcrest Memorial Park, Dallas.

Horace P. JONES⁶⁷ was born in June 1886 in Texas.¹¹⁴ He died on 20 April 1916 at the age of 29 in El Paso, El Paso County, Texas.

1910, Durant City, Bryan Co OK. Albert C. Haden, age 34, married 12 years. b. TX as were both parents [wrong]; Merchant, dry goods. Mary C., wife, age 34, 3 children, 3 living. b. TX as were her parents. Gladys, age 11, Mary J. age 9, Elizabeth G., age 2 months. Gladys born in TX; Mary & Elizabeth born in OK. It would appear they had just arrived in Durant in 1900. Also living with the family are two boarders. Horace Jones, age 22, b. TX, a salesman in the dry goods store. Thurman A. Blakeney [Albert's 1st cousin from Bonham, TX] age 21, b. TX, a bookkeeper at a bank.

There is a Horace Jones, b. 1886, d. 1916, buried Highland Cemetery in Durant, Bryan Co, where several other members of the family lived. His Texas death certificate confirms this is the correct Horace.

Horace P. Jones died at the Homan Sanatorium, El Paso, Texas on 20 Apr 1916. He was Single about age 30. He worked as a clerk, Dry Goods, and had been born in Texas. He died of pulmonary hemorrhage - he had tuberculosis. He had been at the sanitorium for 10 months; his former residence was Durant, Oklahoma. His father listed as Walter Jones, born North Carolina, mother Virgie Haden, birthplace unknown. Miss Alice Jones, 920 S. Jennings, Ft. Worth, TX, was the informant. The body was removed to Durant.
