33. Isaac Otey PERKINS^25,52,53 was born on 2 October 1777 in Goochland County, Virginia.¹ He died about 1812 at the age of 35 in Logan County, Kentucky.

Marriage to Elvira: Surety Nathaniel Perkins. This marriage given also as Greenbrier County.

Logan Co Will Book A, p.209 Dec 1811, Isaac O. Perkins appraised the inventory of William Johnston.

The personal Property Tax rolls show Isaac as paying his taxes in Logan County in 1810, 1811, and 1812. In 1813 and 1814; they are paid by Elvira - which would be the case only if she was widowed.

Logan Co Deed Book I/J, p.410 18 Oct 1821. Deed from Robert Bell to Elizabeth Perkins, now wife of Hezekiah Jones, Abner Perkins, Virginia Perkins, & Lucy Perkins, all children and heirs of Isaac O. Perkins. Robert Bell had sold a tract of land to William Bailey, since deceased, which deed was apparently lost and never recorded. William Bailey sold this land to Isaac O. Perkins on 10 Jan 1811. Bailey never issued deed and Perkins in his lifetime complied with his said part of the covenant. Bell released all claims for $1. Signed: Robert Bell. Witnessed: James Wilson, Cardwell Breathitt, Reubin Ewing. Recorded 8 Jan 1822. [The heirs were apparently of age by late 1821 as no guardianship was mentioned; no widow as heir. Yet if any are of age they would appear to not be children of Elvira who married Isaac in 1805 and he would definitely be older than his birth year indicates. There does not seem to be another Isaac O. Perkins available that this family could belong to. Obviously additional research is needed.]

Isaac Otey PERKINS and Elvira PERKINS were married on 16 September 1805 in Goochland County, Virginia.^1,46,54 Elvira PERKINS died before October 1821.⁵²

No widow named in deed from Robert Bell to heirs of Isaac O. Perkins, so she was probably deceased before October of 1821.

Or she may have remarried. There is a Logan Co marriage - Elvira Perkins, to John Jones, 10 Nov 1814.
