He was buried Oak Lawn.

A Death Certificate for Willie Dee Dixon, who died at age 73, 20 Mar 1973, Palestine, Anderson Co, TX, gave his parents' names as Aubrey Dixon and Ida Mae Covington. Mrs. W. D. Dixon was the informant. He was a retired machinist, said to have died of "natural casues" - there was an inquest, so perhaps he was found dead. Born 23 Feb 1900. He was buried Laurel Oaks Cemetery, Mesquite, TX.

He had lived in Dallas for 26 years - his address was 2806 Lolita. He was born 4 Nov 1902 in Hopkins County. Earnest was married. His occupation had been that of welder, at Venta-Hood. Aubrey Dixon was his father, Ida Covington, his mother. Mrs. Ivy Dixon was the informant. He was buried April 13th, Laurel Oaks Cemetery, Mesquite, Dallas Co, TX

Funeral for Mrs. Ida Dixon Set at Cooper
Funeral service for Mrs. Ida Dixon, 73, who died in Dallas, was set for 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Eugene T. Johnson of Antioch Baptist Church has charge and McDonald Funeral Home will make burial in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Dixon died Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of a son, D. D. Dixon in Dallas. Other children surviving are Willie Dixon, Ernest Dixon and Mrs. A. M. Chance, all of Dallas, and Lee Dixon of Cooper. She leaves a number of grandchildren also.
