108. Martha Jane "Jennie" PERKINS was born on 22 February 1857 in Greene County, Missouri.^2,104 She died on 1 February 1893 at the age of 35 in Greene County, Missouri.²

Said to have died of childbed fever. [This really doesn't seem to agree with the birth of daughter Jennie who was by then about seven months old, perhaps just tradition.] Buried Brookline Cemetery.

Two daughters, Ollie 16, and Jennie 7, lived with their grandparents.
Son Eddie, age 10, lived next door with his uncle William H. Perkins and family.

Martha had two memorials on FindAGrave - the one at Brookline Cemetery has a picture of the marker so it is surely correct. The other in Barton Co MO has been removed. There is no link from it to her husband, Rev. Stephens.

Martha Jane "Jennie" PERKINS and Rev. William H. STEPHENS were married on 21 December 1880 in Greene County, Missouri.² Rev. William H. STEPHENS was born on 6 February 1854. He died on 23 May 1919 at the age of 65. He was buried at New Home Cemetery in Peggs, Cherokee County, Oklahoma.¹³⁶

130	ii.	Roy Perkins STEPHENS was born on 15 October 1887. He died on 19 May 1957 at the age of 69. He was buried at New Home Cemetery in Peggs, Cherokee County, Oklahoma.
131	iii.	Eddie STEPHENS was born in December 1889 in Greene County, Missouri.
132	iv.	Jennie STEPHENS was born in July 1892 in Greene County, Missouri. She died on 3 June 1975 at the age of 82 in Oklahoma. Married Charles Oscar Nuckolls, 20 Sep 1917, Eufaula, OK. She has a memorial on FindAGrave, but her place of burial is unknown. Find A Grave Memorial# 102889108
