110. John Thomas PERKINS was born on 3 May 1861 in Greene County, Missouri.2,104 He died on 8 November 1928 at the age of 67 in Kay County, Oklahoma.2 He was buried in Tonkawa IOOF Cemetery, Tonkawa, Kay County, Oklahoma.137

John's first young sweetheart burned to death in her home just before they were to be married; he stayed a bachelor for many years.

In 1900, I also found in Missouri, Chariton Twp, Macon Co, a John T. Perkins, born May 1861 in Missouri, parents born in Missouri, a coal miner. He was a widower with two daughters and must be a different man.

It seems unlikely to me that John T. Perkins died in Buchanan Co, MO as I had first been told. In 1930, his widow was still living in Oklahoma. He also has no death certificate in Missouri.

John Thomas PERKINS and Amy Ruth SMITH were married on 7 October 1903 in Kay County, Oklahoma.2 Amy Ruth SMITH was born on 13 May 1879 in Kansas. She died on 10 October 1967 at the age of 88.

Cecil Cy PERKINS was born in 1904 in Kay County, Oklahoma. He died in 1956 at the age of 52.

Cecil is buried in the same cemetery as his parents, Tonkawa IOOF Cemetery, Kay Co, OK. His wife is also on the stone as Emma Louise Perkins, 1906-1974

M. Donald "Don" PERKINS was born on 29 March 1911 in Kay County, Oklahoma. He died on 29 October 1997 at the age of 86.

Don and his wife are buried Tonkawa IOOF Cemetery, Kay Co, OK, along with his parents and brother. Don's wife was Golda Perkins, b. Mar 26 1912, d. Feb 12, 2007.

Donald married Golda Heldenbrand, 14 Jun 1931, Kay, OK. He was 20; she was 19. Wm. Heldenbrand listed as her father. Witnesses were Mr. & Mrs. Heldenbrand and Mrs. Amy R. Perkins. They were married b. J. W. Hudiburg, Presbyterian Pastor.
