210. Robert HADEN228 was born on 13 October 1914 in Ladonia, Fannin County, Texas.216 He served in the military in 1942 in World War II (Navy). He died of lung cancer on 1 April 2000 at the age of 85 in Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas.224

Obituary stated that he moved to Springdale, AR in 1949, first being a partner in the Lowell Seed Company [with his brother William and his father]. He worked for Thomas Fruit Co out of Joplin, MO, for 26 years.

Died of lung cancer at his home and buried Bluff Cemetery, Springdale, AR. His gravesite is listed in the U. S. Veterans Gravesite database.

Robert HADEN and Oma Jean THRELDKELD were married on 8 June 1949 in Benton County, Arkansas.229 Oma Jean THRELDKELD, daughter of L. C. THRELKELD and Hattie (THRELKELD), was born on 21 August 1923 in Ladonia, Fannin County, Texas.130 She died on 8 May 2020 at the age of 96 in Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas.

Mrs. Omogene Haden and son, Jerry, from Arkansas, visited her sister, Mrs. Reba Dunn, the past week.

Mrs. Gene [sic] Haden of Springdale, Ark., spent several days with her sister, Mrs. Reba Dunn and mother Mrs. Hattie Threlkeld recently. They all visited her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Threlkeld in Rockwall, and on to Dallas to visit another sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Harris. While there they took their mother, Mrs. Hattie Threlkeld, out for dinner on her 75th birthday. They also visited Mr. & Mrs. H. O. Middlebrooks. Mrs. Haden caught a place for Las Vegas to visit her son who is stationed with the armed forces there, before returning to her home in Springdale.

Oma Jean Haden was born August 21, 1923 in Ladonia, Fannin County, Texas to Hattie and L. C. Threlkeld. She died Friday May 8, 2020 at the age of 96. She came to Springdale, Arkansas in 1949. She was a retired dental assistant for Doctor E. L. McNally. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Haden,and a son, Jerry Don Haden. She is survived by a grandson Brian A. Haden, a daughter-in-law Patricia Haden and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday May 15, 2020 at Sisco Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Services are under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.
