Thomps Morris Willson was age 25, born 24 March 1892, Mt Pleasant, Texas. He was living at 38 N. High, Paris, TX and was a Pharmacist at the Palace Drug Store. He is married and is wife is dependent. He asks for exemption due to affected left lung, and deaf in one ear. Described as tall, slender, with brown eyes and dark hair.

Mary died of cancer of the stomach at the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. She was buried 8 Oct 1958 at the Garden of Memories, Kerrville. She was a teacher at the High School. Born in Bonham, Texas, to Ben Blakeney and Ollie Hayden. The informant's name is difficult to read - it may be T. Morris Willson Jr. [see the census below].

Mr. Willson also was required to register for the World War II "old man's" Draft. Men born on or after 28 Apr 1877 and on or before 16 Feb 1897. His registration dated 27 Apr 1942, at Kerr Co, TX. He was 5' 9", 143 lbs. Brown eyes, Brown hair, Dark complexion. He gave his full name as Thomps Morris Willson. He lived at 941 Golf , Kerrville. His telephone number was 283 and he was age 50, born 24 Mar 1892, Mt. Pleasant, Titus Co, Texas. Mrs. T. M. Willson would always know his address. His employer was listed as Kerrville State Sanitorium.

Note: The Kerrville State Hospital was a Sanitorium for tuberculosis until 1936 when it was acquired by the state of Texas and reopened on 1 Jun 1937 as the Kerrville State Sanitorium for Negroes serving black tuberculosis patients. It was closed in 1949 and all patients transferred to the East Texas State Tuberculosis Hospital in Tyler. It reopened in May of 1951, serving geriatric women with mental illness.
Since Mr. Willson was apparently a tuberculosis sufferer himself, but was not black, perhaps he was allowed to work as an employee at the hospital.

Thomps Morris Willson was born 24 Mar 1892, Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He died 30 July 1950 at 214 Westminster St, Kerrville, Kerr Co TX, where he had lived for 20 years. His father was William F. Willson, born in Texas; his mother Lenora Parson, b. Alabama. Mary B. Willson was the informant. He had had pulmonary tuberculosis for 20 years at the time of his death. The TB complicated with bronchial disease and pneumonia. He was buried at the Garden of Memories, Kerrville.
