9. Lewis IRION⁴⁴ was born about 1798 in Georgia.⁴⁴ He died before 1860 at the age of 62.⁴⁴

In "The 3rd or 1820 Land Lottery of GA" by Lucas, 1986, Lewis Irions drew Lot #320, District 7 in Irwin Co and #129 in District 7, Gwinnett Co. He was living in Elibert Co at that time. Since he was allowed two draws, he was no doubt married.
Lived in Lawrence Co AL 1830; Morgan Co AL by 1837. Morgan Co in 1840, 1850 Census. Lucy, widow, in Lowndes Co MS in 1860

Lewis IRION and Lucy BINNS were married about 1820.⁴⁴ Lucy BINNS, daughter of Christopher BINNS and Sarah [BINNS], was born in 1799 in Georgia.⁴⁴

Lewis IRION and Lucy BINNS had the following children:

32	i.	George IRION⁴⁴ was born about 1820.⁴⁴ He died before 1870 at the age of 50.⁴⁴ Married Penina Beck 28 Jul 1846 Morgan Co AL. Lowndes Co MS in 1850, 1860. In 1900 Penina lived with son James in Macon, Noxubee County MS.
33	ii.	Sarah Eliza IRION⁴⁵ was born about 1821.⁴⁵ Married Charles Love, 21 Dec 1837, Morgan County, AL. Morgan Co AL census in 1850.
34	iii.	Lewis C IRION⁴⁵ was born about 1824.⁴⁵ Married Mary Powers, 31 Jul 1846, Morgan Co AL.
35	iv.	Susan E. IRION⁴⁶ was born about 1826 in Alabama.⁴⁶ Married John S. Crow, 13 Sep 1845, Morgan Co AL. Lived near Starkville, Oktibbeha Co MS in 1860. Husband probably killed during the war. Susan, widow, living near family in Columbus, Lowndes Co MS 1870; reported to be insane, living in Hinds Co MS in 1875.
36	v.	David M. IRION⁴⁶ was born about 1829.⁴⁶ He died about 1875 at the age of 46.⁴⁶ Married Sarah E. Grantland on 17 Dec 1849, Morgan Co AL. Served in Civil War. John N. Blasingame, brother-in-law was administrator of his estate. Spouse and son, Paschal born c 1853 were not mentioned, so assumed they were deceased.
37	vi.	Parthenia C. IRION⁴⁶ was born on 29 November 1830 in Alabama.⁴⁶ She died on 23 July 1879 at the age of 48 in Lowndes County, Mississippi.⁴⁶ Married Samuel Brown Jr. on 11 Aug 1851, Lowndes Co MS. Lived with her aunt Parthenia Hayden in Columbus, Lowndes Co MS in 1860. In 1870 she was found next door to sister Poebe Blasingame.
38	vii.	Mary E. IRION⁴⁶ was born about 1836 in Alabama.⁴⁶ Married William W. Heard, a widower with four children, on 26 Oct 1865.
39	viii.	Phoebe A. IRION⁴⁶ was born on 21 January 1837 in Alabama.⁴⁶ She died on 15 May 1912 at the age of 75 in Columbus, Lowndes County, Mississippi.⁴⁶ Married (1st) Thomas B. Tolson circa 1861; he possibly died during the Civil War. Married (2nd) John Newton Blasingame on 3 Jan 1866, in Lowndes Co MS. In 1860, she is single, living with her sister Susan Crow in Starkville, Oktibbeha Co MS
