7. McKinney F. IRION23,36,37,38 was born about 1792 in Wilkes County, Georgia.36 He died on 4 June 1866 at the age of 74.36

In "The 4th or 1821 Land Lottery of GA" by Lucas, 1986, McKinney Irions drew Lot #187 in District 16 in Houston Co GA. Lots in this draw were 202 1/2 acres. There's no evidence, he ever lived in Houston Co, but his cousin James M. Holderness did.
Moved to Tennessee by early 1830. Hardeman Co Tn 1840 & 1850 Census. McKinney in Lowndes Co MS in 1860 - sister Parthenia Hayden, willed him her plantation.

William and McKinney Irion were both in Hardeman Co for the 1830 Census. William was listed first with McKinney immediately after. p.362. I did not find them indexed - the name appears to be Ironz.

1. My body decently interred
2. My just debts and funeral expenses be paid
3. The residue of property, real and personal, to be equally didived among my childrne, James W. Irion, Cornelia P. Irion, Eliza L. Irion, and Elizabeth C Irion.
4. If any of the children die without lawful issue, their parts to go to the others that may be living. If any died leaving decendants they are to receive the part of their deceased parent.

McKinney F. IRION and Cynthia BREWER were married on 21 October 1816 in Elbert County, Georgia.35,36 Cynthia BREWER was born in 1802 in Elbert County, Georgia. She died in 1822 at the age of 20 in Elbert County, Georgia.

Elaine Oborn, Montgomery, AL, is descended from a brother of Cynthia's. She has in her possession a sampler made by Cynthia Olived Brewer about 1814. A note attached by great-great-niece Adelin Starke Grogan dated 6 Nov 1926 says: "She was born 1802 at the old Brewer homestead in the Flatwoods section of Elbert County, Georgia. She was married in 1820 to Mr. McIrons (sic) a Scotch cabinetmaker. She died in 1822 and was buried in the family cemetery, near the house which is still the original plan."

McKinney F. IRION and Lucy GRAY were married on 3 December 1827.36 Lucy GRAY was born about 1801.36 She died on 11 June 1846 at the age of 45.36 Probably buried Bethany Cemetery, Whiteville, Hardeman Co TN
