Hazel Marie Comstock, 85, of Greenwood passed away Monday, May 23, 2016.
She was born Feb. 13. 1931, in Panama to the late Ernest and Lillian Johnson.
She was of the Assembly of God faith, a member of VFW Ladies Auxillary No. 8845. She was retired from Whirlpool Corp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Arland Eugene Russell and Nathaniel Comstock; a sister, Mildred Suter and a brother, Arthur Johnson.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, with the Rev. Charles Scott officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Genia Bartlett and her husband Charles of Pocola; three sons, Johnny Russell and his wife Jennie of the Philippines, Gary Russell and his wife Carole of Mesquite, Texas, and Darrell Russell and his wife Beckie of Huntington; a sister, Louise Perkins of Fort Smith; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
