Claude passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 on his beloved farm at the age of 78.
Born as a twin in Salina, Ok. on the 1st of April, 1928 to Arlie and Irene (Comstock) Armbrister, Claude was a sibling to four brothers and five sisters. Traveling from farm to farm, Claude learned the value of hard work at an early age. On June 29, 1951, in a ceremony in Verdigris, Claude and Wanda Jane Corley were united in marriage and made their home in that rural community with their children. Claude and Wanda raised their four children in a loving Christian home.
Claude supported his family working as a master mechanic and millwright for American Airlines, retiring in 1980. Just two years later, in 1982, His loving wife Wanda Jane passed away. Three years ago he moved to his "Doghill Farm" North of Claremore where he spent many happy hours, clearing land, fencing, watching over his mules, farm animals, and wildlife. Though his family, children and grandchildren were Claude's first priority, he will always be remembered as a man who was there to lend a helping hand. Claude will be missed by many.
Those who survive include his children, Wanda Margalla Moore and her husband, Gerald, Carolyn Sue Moore and her husband,Corkie, Anita Claudine Nance And Kelvin Brent Armbrister And his wife, Rocky, all of Claremore; his grandchildren, Rodney Nance, Bradley Moore, Jowana Moore, Amanda Fisk, Jackie Moore, Janie Armbrister And Cody Armbrister; his great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Moore, Nora Nance, Peyton Moore, Sadie Fisk, Emmy Fisk, Dalton Moore, Jadyn Moore, Cambry Moore, Riley Moore, and one on the way; his sister, Faye Ellick, also of Claremore, and brothers, Ham Armbrister of Oklahoma City, Twin brother George "Dude" Armbrister of Claremore, Wayne Armbrister of Fouke, Arkansas,and Lewis Armbrister of Claremore.
He was preceded in death by his parents (Arlie and Irene Armbrister), Twin infant sons (Lonnie and Ronnie), and four sisters.

Claudie V. ARMBRISTER and Wanda Jane CORLEY were married on 29 June 1951. Wanda Jane CORLEY was born on 10 November 1932. She died on 8 December 1982 at the age of 50.

Wanda was the daughter of Avis Corley and Myrtle Francis Sumter.
