37. Timothy HOLTZCLAW77,78 was born in 1756 in Prince William County, Virginia.3 He died on 20 April 1816 at the age of 60 in Wilkes County, Georgia.3

Served in the Revolution but no record has been found.
Moved to Georgeia, Wilkes Co, 1789.
His Will found in Wilkes Co GA, date 20 Apr 1816 and proved 1 Jul 1916. Grandchildren William and Lucinda Holtzclaw the tract where son Nathan did live; daughters Charlotte Burns, Sally Russell, Emily Holtzclaw; sons, Henry, Elijah, Silas and John Graham. Wife Rhoda. Sons Henry and Elijah to be Executors.

Bequests: Grandchildren William and Lucinda a tract of land wheron son Nathan Holtzclaw did settle and property now in their mother's possession to enjoy it during her widowhood; daughter Charlotte Burns, slave & furniture; son Henry Holtzclaw parcel of land on Buzzard Branch; son Elijah Holtzclaw parcel of land adjoing William & Lucinda's; two sons Silas Holtzclaw & John Graham Holtzclaw the rest of land and plantation divided equally & Silas gets a mare & bridle & saddle; daughter Sally Russell slave and property now in her possession; daughter Emily Holtzclaw slave and funiture, livestock; wife Rhoda Holtzclaw land where they now live with slaves not given, etc to be divided after her lifetime between all: Charlotte, Henry, Sally, Elizabeth, Emily, Silas, & John. Henry & Elijah executors. Witness: David Kerr, Arnold Atkinson, Jacob Calloway.

Timothy HOLTZCLAW and Rhoda GRAHAM were married about 1778 in Fauquier County, Virginia.3 Rhoda GRAHAM was born in 1761 in Prince William County, Virginia.79 She died on 10 November 1822 at the age of 61 in Wilkes County, Georgia.79
