224. Hardin Aurelis DAVISON was born in 1811. He died on 8 February 1860 at the age of 49 in Hawesville, Hancock County, Kentucky.

He is said to have been an erratic and dangerous man who participated in the assiassination of William Lowe in Hawesville over a political quarrel. He tried to kil certain prisoners in the Hawesville Jail. Then he died blowing himself up in an attempt to blow up some of his enemies in the basement of a store.
He was deceased before the 1860 census.

Hardin Aurelis DAVISON and Jane Stark DUPREY were married about 1838. Jane Stark DUPREY was born on 2 April 1822 in Kentucky. She died on 19 October 1912 at the age of 90 in Cedar County, Missouri.

William Hardin DAVISON was born on 18 November 1839 in Kentucky. He died on 7 March 1865 at the age of 25.

CAPTAIN WILLIAM DAVISON
Confederate Captain William Davison is buried here. He died March 7, 1865, from a gunshot wound suffered in a firefight with Union Home Guard, February 24, 1865, near Patesville during the Civil War. Davison led a band of rebel guerrillas that raided countries from Brandenburg to Owensboro in 1864. The rebels burned the Daviess Country Courthouse, January 4, 1865.

Lemuel Duprey DAVISON was born on 29 October 1856 in Hancock County, Kentucky. He died on 3 September 1893 at the age of 36 in Saint Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri.

St. Joseph, Mo., Sept. 11 – The body of Mr. L. D. Davidson, proprietor of the drug store in the Tootie Theater building, who was drowned Saturday night in Lake Contrary, was recovered yesterday afternoon after a search of nearly twenty hours.
