A Marriage license was issued in Sebastian Co, AR, 5 Apr 1905 to Den Comstock of Uniontown, age 32, to marry Birdie Houghton of Van Buren, age 26. John Q. West, Church of Christ Minister married them on the 6th of April 1905. It appears that one child had already been born to the couple and another was on the way.

His grave marker reads "A precious one from us has gone. A voice we love is still. A place is vacant in our home which he can only fill." Den is buried in the Comstock Cemetery, as is a young son, Thomas Denzil who was age 6 when he died.

Clinden "Den" COMSTOCK and Birdie CHADWICK were married on 6 April 1905.^314,316,317 Birdie CHADWICK, daughter of Edward CHADWICK and Sarah Elizabeth LONG, was born on 9 July 1879 in Indian Territory.³¹⁸ She died on 9 July 1978 at the age of 99 in Crawford County, Arkansas.

They were apparently living in the household of Robert & Mary F. Estes and their five children, and Elisha Estes, age 85 - although the enumerator may have just failed to put a household number for the Chadwicks.

Birdie remarried after the death of Clinden.
In 1920, she and new husband Tom Fuller lived between Omer Mills [who had been married to Cordelia Comstock] and Randolph Comstock, in Uniontown. The three younger children are Comstocks but they are listed as Fullers. Goy was Tom's son by his first marriage.
