There is a story that she died after locking herself out of her house. Maybe had a heart attack on front porch trying to get back in? Have not been able to confirm, but she died in the hospital in North Little Rock according to her Obituary.

Grave marker has Eastern Star emblem.

PAULENE CLARK
Paulene Comstock Clark, 78, of Little Rock died July 26 in a North Little Rock hospital. She was born in Uniontown Oct 2, 1905, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Comstock of Van Buren. She was secretary to the chaplain at the Veterans' Hospital in North Little Rock and the first woman to pass the Arkansas bar exam. She was the widow of the late Dr. A. C. Clark.
Survivors include one brother, Paul Comstock of Van Buren; one sister Maude Redmon of Van Buren; one brother-in-law, Cy Carney of Fayetteville; nephew, Kenny Comstock of Springdale, niece, JoEllen McKim of springdale.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ocker Memorial Chapel, Van Buren. Burial was in Grace Lawn Cemetery.

An obituary was also in the Northwest Arkansas Times on 28 Jul 1984. That obituary includes all the above as well as the fact that Pauline was a member of Wood memorial Christian Church of Van Buren - she had apparently never moved her membership.

He was born 22 Nov 1894 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was a physician and surgeon. His father was C. I. Clark; his mother Olive Mae Thomas. His wife (no name listed) was the informant. Buried Gracelawn Cemetery, Van Buren, on Oct 18th.

Dies at Age 74
Dr. Aura Clarence Clark, aged 74, of 415 Skyline Drive, North Little Rock, a retired specialist in surgery and gynecology, died Thursday.
He was born at Van Buren, the son of the late C. I. and Mrs. Olive Mae Thomas Clark. He was graduated from Van Buren High School, the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas Medical School at Little Rock and served his internship and residency at John Hopkins University at Baltimore. While in Baltimore he served as a cancer specialist for one year at Kelly Hospital.
He moved to Little Rock in 1940 and established an office at the Donaghey Building. He retired in 1967. He served on the staffs at St. Vincent Infirmary and Arkansas Baptist Medical Center and was a member of the Arkansas State Medical Society and the Pulaski County Medical Society and was a Presbyterian. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pauline Comstock Clark, and a sister, Mrs. Hugh C. Moffitt of Tulsa, Okla. The body will be taken to Van Buren Saturday by North Little Rock Runeral Home. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ocker Funderal Home. Members of the Arkansas and Pulaski County Medical Societies will be honorary pallbearers. Burial will be at Gracelawn Cemetery at Van Buren.
