There are discrepancies in the birth date of Rosalie. The Pioneer Citizen Award article about her sister Hettie gives her birth as Apr 18 1890. Her gravestone has 18 Apr 1892. The 1900 census has March 1892.

Mrs Small, a life long resident of Westville, is survived by her husband, John of the home; four sons, Gregory Edmiston, Daytona Beach, FL; J. D. Edmiston, Elmonte, CA; Wayne and Harley Edmiston of Salem, OR; 2 daughters, Mrs. Raymond Biby of Pueblo, CO; Mrs. Onie Lewallen of Tulsa; 5 sisters, Hettie Campbell of Uniontown, AR, Cora Verbas, Yuba City, CA; Ellis Edmiston, Reginai Morton, Zelma Mumm all of Westville; 4 brothers Gratus Comstock of Westville; Tommy Comstock of Marysville, CA and Hardy Comstock of Westville.

Rosalie COMSTOCK and Kinnie A. EDMISTON were married on 12 August 1911 in Stilwell, Adair County, Oklahoma.¹⁸³ Kinnie A. EDMISTON³⁴⁰ was born on 17 July 1871 in Morrow, Washington County, Arkansas.¹⁸³ He died on 3 September 1957 at the age of 86 in Siloam Springs, Benton County, Arkansas.¹⁸³

Kenny had a previous spouse; there is a daughter Bessie L., whose mother was born in Tennessee listed on the 1920 Crawford Co Census. Kenny & Rosa and children are living in the household of James C. Slover, age 83, widower, born in Tennessee.
