Mary Frances COLEMAN and William Thomas HIGGINBOTHAM were married on 22 August 1839 in Amherst County, Virginia.²⁶ William Thomas HIGGINBOTHAM²⁶, son of John HIGGINBOTHAM and Margaret Washington CABELL, was born on 19 August 1818 in Amherst County, Virginia.²⁶ He died on 10 May 1864 at the age of 45 in Battle of Spotsylvania Court House.²⁶ He served in the military in Civil War.

I have not found his Civil War service.
