Mrs. M. E. Montgomery died 20 Apr 1931, Palo Pinto County, TX. She lived 4 miles north of Mineral Wells and had lived there for 12 years prior to her death. She was a widow, born 10 Mar 1858. She of apoplexy; influenza was secondary. Her parents were both born in Louisiana - Mr. Higginbotham and Miss McCowan. The informant appears to have been J. F. Ackerman but the handwriting is poor. She was buried Brazos Valley on 21 April.
